golden skies

A few nights ago, the golden skies after a fierce, pounding storm amazed me. I drove around, eyes wide, straining to see out my windows and take in the beauty. I had to stop and take some photographs - this wasn't something I wanted to forget. I loved sharing these images with friends because I knew I wasn't the only one affected by the drastic difference between the storm we had experienced and the glorious skies that God created for us afterwards. This is beauty, the mark of a creator, an intelligent God that designed nature to be adored, awed, amazed, appreciated, and thousands of other emotions. He's dyed the skies and they are never the same in any instance that we gaze on them.
